If you haven’t noticed, alot of wonderful things are goin on right now. The world is our oyster. I have a good feeling that this Spring EP will define what Second Self is all about, and thats diversity. Like our Winter EP (which you should go ahead and download for free) its an eclectic sound of music that soothes your ears with very elegant and soft well rounded songs, but will still punch you in the face with deeper and harder songs that’ll make you think “is this the same band?”. While we finish up recording the new EP,  please smother yourself with our recent release, and follow us on soundcloud for any live releases and you can check out some solo tracks that I have put up for all your ears to enjoy.

Second Self has a blog! So here we go…

We are fresh off the release of our Winter EP, which you can Download for FREE at http://secondselfmusic.bandcamp.com. We have started work on the Spring EP, and will be laying down the first tracks this weekend.

We are returning to The Whiskey in Annapolis, MD on Thursday, January 19, opening for Three Legged Fox, a great Reggae/Rock band from Philadelphia. We played a show with them in early December and had a blast. Check them out at www.threeleggedfoxlive.com

We are also very excited to be apart of Camp Barefoot 6 in Bartow, WV! The festival runs from Thursday, August 23 thru Sunday, August 26. Second Self will play on Thursday afternoon. We will be joined by our friends Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Segway, Deaf Scene, Former Champions, as well as regional acts Zach Deputy, Brothers Past, That 1 Guy, The Werks, and many more! Thanks for being apart of the Second Self community! We put a lot of hard work and dedication into our music to give our fans the best music possible. We can’t wait to see what the future has in store for us. This will be an exciting year for us, playing in new places and meeting new people, as well as doing big an exciting things in our hometown of Baltimore. We will also be releasing the most studio recordings we have ever done in one year, four total EPs by the Fall of 2012. We can’t wait to share the music with all of you! See you at the shows!
